2020 EPCSL COVID-19 RESPONSE
As we all know, the current Covid-19 epidemic has had far reaching effects on everything around us, and it seems we will be waiting even longer before we see our ‘regular lives’ again. Unfortunately, this also applies to our league operations. We deeply regret not being able to safely provide a soccer league this season.
Just like any business, certain costs have to be paid before business can even begin. Being a nonprofit organization is no different. State and city license fees and supplies just to name a few. While we would love to give every family a full refund, that just isn’t possible.
Our spring season started March 7. A fee per player had already been paid to El Paso Parks and Recreation in order to obtain our permits for game fields. Players were all already placed on rosters on their respective teams, as is required by South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA). STYSA will not be giving us a credit on those registration fees. And as of yet, El Paso Parks and Recreation has not issued a refund for our permit fees to EPCSL, only NESL has received their spring permit refund.
Here are the following options in regards to registration fees: PARTIAL REFUND or PARTIAL CREDIT for the 2020/2021 Soccer Year. Please read the chart below to see what your refund/credit amount will be.
DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR REFUND OR CREDIT IS AUGUST 31, 2020, 11:59 PM
EPCSL PLAYERS - APPLY AT EPCSL.REGISTRAR@GMAIL.COM - Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or by check. Future credits will be issued as a voucher code, to be used during the 2020-2021 soccer season.
Please make sure to indicate player name, date of birth, team name, parent/guardian name who the refund is being issued, and your current mailing address. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO INDICATE PLAYER'S NAME, BIRTHDATE, NAME OF PARENT REQUESTING THE REFUND, AND CURRENT ADDRESS FOR REFUNDS TO BE ISSUED.
